Farm to Table
Community Supported Agriculture @ St. Barts
Stoneledge Farm CSA
The first CSA in White Plains, now in its 9th year, Stoneledge Farm CSA delivers farm-fresh, local organic food to St Bart's every Wednesday from early June through late November. For about $20 per week, you will get a bag of just-picked, pesticide-free, chemical-free, seasonal vegetables, enough for a family of four. Fruit shares and market orders of coffee, honey, maple syrup, and more are available also.
Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a unique relationship of mutual support and commitment between a farm and community members for an entire growing season. CSA members purchase a share for the growing season before the harvest begins. The price of the share enables the farm to cover yearly costs, almost all of which are incurred before the crops are ready for harvest. This entitles the member to a share of the harvest thoughout the season, grown and delivered by a farm they know and trust. CSA's benefit small farmers, the environment, your wallet, and your health. Visit www.stoneledgefarmny.org for sample shares and to sign up. If you sign up early, installment payments are available.
